Getting the most out of your garden composter is the same as getting the most out of anything in life that you create or buy.  The key is to keep adding more biodegradable material to the composter so that your compost will eventually boast a healthy mix of friendly bacteria. This means adding one part green type waste such as kitchen waste to twenty-five parts brown waste such as leaves that have been raked up in your yard.
